Her directness. She’s really realistic, and she tends to take the edge off of things. She helps me realize that things are not as gray as they seem. She tones me down—in a good way.
His patience. When things are unjust, like when someone skips a line, I’ll say “come on, we’re all waiting in this fucking line!” And he’ll say “it’s just a line, why do you care?” He’s very down to earth and that helps me a lot. I think we’re very good for each other.
