a 4-week online workshop for the parents of game-obsessed children
Are you a freedom-oriented parent who wants to support your child’s autonomy… but you simply cannot get comfortable with the amount of video or computer games that they play?
Do you fear that your child’s love might border on addiction? If your kid had a feeding tube and a toilet-chair, they might actually never stop gaming?
Have your attempts to limit gaming turned into explosive arguments, frayed relationships, and mutual resentment? Do you feel like gaming is destroying your family life?
Yes? Then you are not alone. And there is hope.
Next workshop dates TBA
Online—join from anywhere!
Join coach Eric Lanigan for a month-long journey that will transform your relationship with games, gaming, and your children.
It is possible to give your child real freedom without feeling like you’re ruining their futures, making them hate you, or failing as a parent.
By distinguishing between engagement and obsession, you can dramatically improve the relationship with your child, better understand their motivations, and end the cycle of punishment, shame, and resentment.
Whether your child is age 6 or 19 (or anywhere between), we’re here to guide you through this journey.
This online workshop takes place over four 60-minute group video calls: April 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd, 2019. You may participate from anywhere in the world with a reliable internet connection (or phone connection, if your internet is unreliable or you prefer voice-only).
Each call happens on a Tuesday from 11am-12pm PST (2-3pm EST). If you can’t make one of them, that’s okay—we’ll record it for you.
This is a small, focused workshop with a limit of 15 parent participants, ensuring that your voice will be heard and specific needs addressed.
Think of each call like a long Q&A session, where Eric addresses topics based on your personal concerns as well as the articles, videos, and practical assignments suggested in the previous week.
For personal attention between calls, there will be a private discussion group on Facebook. For one-on-one attention, you may write to Eric directly, and he will respond promptly.
Eric Lanigan is a Motivation Coach who has helped hundreds of people to get clear on what they want—and then do it. “Of all the things I’ve tried, sharing in these groups and listening to the struggles of others alongside Eric Lanigan’s advice is the most helpful step I’ve ever taken to get me out of my head and into action.”
