Why Do I Write the Saddest Books

Oct 20, 2012

I’m always writing the saddest books. I can’t even help it, these are just the ideas that pop into my head while I do the dishes or listen to music. Of course, I always say my next project will be something light and fun to cleanse my pallet, but then I change my mind and decide to write about a teenager with cancer.

I think I’m a masochist.
