Homeschool Leadership Retreats (HLR) offers innovative sleep-away programs for homeschoolers, unschoolers, and other self-directed students, ages 13-20. The retreats give teens the experience, tools, and self-confidence to create opportunities for themselves--instead of waiting for opportunity to fall into one's lap.
Upcoming retreats include:
The HLR original. The Spring Retreat offers teen homeschoolers a chance to explore beautiful Ashland, Oregon for 2 weeks. Staff will also challenge groups of students with fun and wacky Mini-Quests, a cross between scavenger hunts and field research.

A life-changing immersion experience for young adult homeschoolers. Spend six weeks learning how to live in community, travel cheaply, make friends and connections anywhere, create your own work, and study deeply with or without college. Located in beautiful Ashland, Oregon, students live in and manage their own group house; they research their long-term goals, write blog articles, and create "reality binders"; and they spend each weekend pursuing group challenges that build wit, resourcefulness, and and constructive attitude.
The special events and highlights of the Fall Retreat are secrets! They will involve camping, traveling by many means, and meeting tons of new people.
